Hi! My name is Ferris/Priest and this is my dog, Bruno. He’s a 4-6 year old black labrador/australian cattle dog mix my family adopted in March 2014, meaning I’ve only had him for a little over 5 months now, he’s also the first dog I’ve ever owned.
Toward the end of June, Bruno was experiencing very noticeable ataxia, vomiting, temporary left eye blindness and a right head tilt, which are all signs of neurological damage. We took him to a vet immediately, only to find that he may have had a stroke, meningitis or a brain tumor. My family could only afford some medication to help, which it seemed it did so we assumed it was minor stroke since he recovered quite quickly.
Unfortunately, yesterday while I was home alone with Bruno, he had a sudden ataxic episode in which he seemed very confused and had extreme difficultly walking. I called my dad but my family really cannot afford even taking him too the vet, which alone would cost 300$ just to walk in.
I really, really want Bruno to be okay, even just knowing what may be happening to him. So if anyone can donate even a dollar to his medical fund, I’d be so grateful! If you can’t donate anything, please share this at least.
Thank you for reading!
NOTE: The fundraiser goal is CAD$2000 due to our hopes of getting a CT scan, which is about CAD$1600-$1700.

THIS MAN HAS ALS, AND HIS ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE WILL MAKE YOU LAUGH. THEN IT’LL MAKE YOU CRY

The video begins humorously as Anthony Carbajal, a photographer, dresses up in a neon bikini top and soaps up a car before being doused with ice water.

So watch the full video here and laugh out loud at the first half and then get ready to tear up in the second half.

I shared this video the other day, and if you didn’t watch it, maybe you should give it a try now. It will give you a different perspective on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge
